A city so still takes my action
As i restrain the very brain of interaction
I creep slowly and pause to supliment my flaws
through a city we are seemingly sleeping...
Vast grey skies with sudden stopped cries
We were wishing to die,our prides flew right by
A section of earth had stopped breathing...
Like a drug for the healing i broke from my feelings
I froze life from death to seek a heart in my chest
Found little to compare this to me
I forged on with each hit and loosened my hips
To find little to compare to my dealing...
I hail to enforce a new feeling...
like the frozen earth I see
I stopped breathing....

(I started to type and this is what the image possesed me to write. I was glad to see a new one up, since this seems to be one of my favorite threads... Keep them comming)
What then was now and now was then
Yes, I too was once a little boy bounced on knees with a mother's joy, but now those times have gone away; I've grown to be that man someday. Yet in my mind I still recall those days I thought I had it all, and maybe did, it's hard to say, for childhood knowledge fades away as years turn children into lesser visions of themselves.
Oh sure, I might sound a bit depressed, a holy candle hardly blessed, an old and weathered book of age with maybe just another page. But don't condemn these words I speak, for life is just a thing we seek, yet seem to find it far too late; but then perhaps that is our fate in a world we seldom contemplate beyond our range of vision.
And as for me? Well, I'm almost finished, as it were, and my life is just a fleeting blur of present times that now are past, of forever songs that didn't last, of thoughts and dreams I can't recall, except to say I've had them all, of lusts and hates and joys and fears, of laughter mixed with heartbreak tears, of love I thought would never die, and things I thought I'd never try. Old friends smile and wave good-bye from their cloudy platforms in the sky, leaving me to wonder why I couldn't go along.
Now it's been said that life's a mystery; God only knows it is to me. We live and die, that seems quite fair, a trip that goes from here to there, though there was here and here was there when viewed from almost anywhere this journey leads us to.
You are still young, but that's your fault, a somewhat empty knowledge vault, a fresh new soul with hopes and dreams, a witty child with endless schemes, a song as not yet fully orchestrated to the band. So live your life. Seek out your strife. Go find a husband or a wife and settle down to fleeting days, to age old proven means and ways, to security which comes and lays around you like a noose. It's not so bad, I'll tell you true, there's lots of worse things you could do. But then you'll see that soon enough; for youthful play is always ruff and mountain kings must show their stuff or fall to those who do.
And then, someday, you'll look around and find your own clock winding down. So off you'll go to search the key (that winds the damn thing up, you see). Though I'll tell you in all honesty that such a key has yet to be that winds up old mortality.
A bitter man you say I am to gloat upon your mortal fate? Perhaps. But then again there just might be a motive locked away within my rhyme, a lesson to be learned in time, a lucid word or two to see, a bit of real philosophy in all this pseudo-misery. For sure enough we all must die, no matter how we pray, or try. And yet he who dwells upon the 'why', or lives to stare beyond the sky, or forgets his life is passing by will lose the time that marks the day, will lose the years that slip away, will never come to know the worth of this life we came to know at birth. I mean, let's face it, it's hard enough once death arrives, and what gain to he who simply survives to wish he'd taken up that chance to take a hand and dance a dance, to give forth love without restraint, to help his friends without complaint, to say he truly did his best to ease the pain of all the rest.
Still, the choice is yours, make no mistake, for life is just a birthday cake whose candles tell a tale of time, of years which must be left behind, regardless of what might have been when then was now and now was then.

with real feelings but lots of fakes..
so many people, different visions, such a small place,..
If u discover life, in all its glory ..u will be filled with amaze..
Life..humans, ..how is it going to end?..i wonder..
Pure and total chaos has taken the streets over
When strangers ask for help, they get a cold shoulder
Roads packed with fear-filled pedestrians in need
It passes on from each individual like a disease
One gets scared and flees, the rest follow suit
The fear is unknown, we're just running away
I travel thru the city fully congested
The world is very hard to get digested
The motorcycle gets my thru no room to move
Rubbing elbows with the others on the rove
No one knows where this city lies
In the maps of rich americans no one ask why
treated successful when a motorcycle I buy
My father on his feet always he walked his beat
Walking thirty miles to work wich sat on eight street
I inherited it and now thirty min trip turned to ten
When my sons are old enough they will take over and become men
And they to will see this street
Down on the number eight
The noise from the cycle echoes through the street.
my mind confused with everyday dreams of never leaving this city.
suttlle embrace from a passing mind. thoghts of the lights and how they still shine.
one day a person a people will understand my love for this city.
the germs within,the germs around
why oh why do I love this old town.
so much more to be had on another day
either way this is what I pray.
city I love, city I need, free me from all this hate and greed.
the city in a whole is more of a heart than human.
just to keep my mind straight I should keep movin.
one to many thoughts about city and structure.
i think more and more im deprived from this culture.
tick tock tick tock my mind jumps back and forth.
I wonder if I will ever make it back to walnut court.
The world is filled with traffic
to all geographics of all sorts of demographics.
The world rotates so slow
but life is always on the go.
It looks chaotic but it`s exotic
because we`re somehow synchronized & organized
as well as unformed
to a point that a sworm of people
appears to be just "traffic" to the norm.
We live too much in the fast lane,
even if we were to pause time, the world
would still look crazy insane.
People are going from location to location,
constantly having different destinations
that they don`t even have time for a whole day vacation.
When will the world, or shall I say "people" slow down?
I guess you have to live life to it`s fullest...Thats until you crash
from living life too fast.
You must use time to your advantage
thats if you can manage
because life is short but time is endless.
And that also goes for the young & the restless.
Past,
tradition,
culture.
Chasing,
Yearning
the future.
Imposed,
through tales,
Spun by hoors,
of fat cat greed..
Selective with creed..
To rot,
deteriorate,
devour then grow..
The black,
the green,
To Life again...
But what life?
Bright lights shine
Dreams intertwine..
Hollow filled time,
Burns underlying strife..
Nothing to bide,
But endless crimes..
Growing ever faster
Days go by,
minute to minute,
This world of mine...
Looking from afar,
Steadily paced..
Through song,
Sighing,
Almost grinning,
Crying,
Mad,
Mad world...
(Er, yeah, kind of a just sketched it after looking at pic. The last line references the song 'Mad World' by...i can't remember who it was..but it seemed suitable...as it does epitomise so much..but yeah, kind of using that song as an example, like...)

Walking away, theres a new person.. now you think you know them in every single way
You hear voice of the beat, forget your friends voices because of the clutter of the streets
