Hey Look(I'm Dying)


No pleasantries hold strong in the free-form sand
Shifting orange tide with no seed to anchor root
Cruel wind carries ghost of starved hunger -
Feeding on each other aside the birds; lucid avidity

My heart wishes to fill the vacuum,
Pulling tarnished flesh through narrow ribs
Fever; thirsted flies drink the tears - pain,
Feeble body collapsing upon my heart
Frail bones hang flaccid from my cadaver
- Fill me with flesh, feed me an average life span -

(My weight in this world) Double digits,
But our multitude fits no number on scale
Grains of red dirt, slipping between osteal fingers
- Don't waste your appetite - I spoil in the heat
Drying out for your empathetic cameras
Say Cheese - no use; I'm still hungry

If only a picture gave a thousand loafs

The irony of our impending sadness;
What cruel beast that watch the slaughter
Ignorant epidemic - the never disenchanted
Wool must be high in stock -
- A fashion trend
(It's over everyone's eyes)

I wish I could make you care - Praying,
For an off set to free will; Thanks God...

I plead that you - Look At Me! -
My wrinkled skin folding over brittle bone
As my stomach swells with sorrow; Hopeless
Gander into my eyes, empty hollows
Cold spheres of coal whose light bleeds
Into your precious rock - Diamond, my soul
Lost in it's prism, my worth far surpassed
By your greed for shiny things; You're welcome

Smile and tell yourself you did good
Fuck you, damnation drift on your wings of freedom
Hells flame waving in your Star Spangled Banner
Profiteers of justice, our empty belly's fill with your
Tyranny - Lost in one hue; Green

Bleed me dry of your pity

I don't want your help, you need it more than me
Just know that you stood idol while we died
You smiled and sent in your change, Zinc
But no Change, Please don't pretend to care
I want to die knowing you accept responsibility
For nothing.

This was a really great read dude, something I could really have felt by reading... that you spent time on it, that YOU saw it in your mind as you wrote it. Wording was damn near perfect! It had every line flowing so well, I can't describe how right it was. I felt that imagery was great man... really painted so hardcore visuals about the scenery and charector. Deep descriptions bro. Emotion was right on the dot, BULLS EYE! Really felt that you grasped me as the reader in this poem. Keep writing man, keep an eye out for 'Requirem of the Dream'.
