anybody else the notice the lack of soul in rap lyrics anymore?

not speaking on what they've written, their words... but the way the words are delivered...
it's like this repetitious monotone rant inbetween each section of the beat... just smoosh as many words as you can into 16 steps, rinse and repeat...theres no range of inflection throughout their bars anymore... every bar has the exact same rhythm throughout entire songs...almost every damn one...
theres a few newer artists that still express some emotion or rhythm in their words...but most are just monotone as fuck...it really annoys the shit out of me... never realized how important inflection is to a rap song until people started rapping this way...
