Surprised? I was too when I typed in "greatness" in a search engine. I had been in a debate about the greatness of this man years ago, but I still didn’t expect to see his picture. Yet I agree; Even though he was an evil bastard, he was great. Do you agree? Why, or why not?

Depends what you mean by "great." If you mean that he is "great" in the sense that he is a genuinely good guy who gave a lot of positive things to the world, then there's something seriously wrong with you. Goes without saying, he exterminated millions of people; Jews, gypsies, blacks, homosexuals... etc. And he was of course, for the most part, responsible for the most horrific war in the history of humanity.
Was he "great" in the sense that he made an enormous impact on history? Surely sure, again, it almost goes without saying... he will never be forgotten, he had an enormous impact on world politics, philosophy... even the way we reflect on ourselves as human beings.
The one thing that can be said is that, everything about Hitler was extreme. He took his ideas to extremes that most of us don't dare approach. Was he a madman? Probably. But in every sense he was at least "greatly" evil, that can at least be said. So in one sense, yes, I suppose you can all him "great."

we need more leaders like him........j/k.......for real though, he led a country out of a depression though. he was extreme, but he thought it was for the better and so did his people, which was like, all of Germany. so, he was great in a sense.

Yeah, some people have a problem using positive terms like 'great' to define a guy like Hitler. But you have to admit, as far as being a psychopathic, self-deluded, egomaniacal dictator, he was more than great. He was downright amazing at it.
When it came to killing people he wasn't ok, or average, he was fantastic.
As far as having no respect for anybody but his distorted vision of a supreme race, he excelled far beyond the call of duty. A lesser dictator might have taken pity on children but not the Furor. He had supreme ability to not give a fuck about anybody.
I mean, I never met old Adolf, but I bet he put a 110% into every death camp he signed off on. Forget Saddam, Osama, or OJ. If you’re talking about fucking up the human race, Hitler wasn't just another all-star. The guy was G.O.A.T.

There is no one who has ever done what he has done, and i dont think anyone will ever do what he did. He first mulitulated himself to the top of the political chain over time... advanced a country to be one of the powers of the world... almost won a world war, which he would have taken over the world if had the chance... his speaches were incredable and very intense... no one is like him, and thats the truth... am i ignoring the fact he was a horrible person??? HELL NO, i think he had a direct conection with satan more than anything. he was cold blooded and decieveing... there is nothing worste than that... those are my reasons for believing he was great... but every great has there faults...
