Gray's Anatomy
Oh Brother another color...
With the different shades; we collect thoughts on a different page
Because now is when I celebrate the special day, of increasing age
I search for sickness, as I seek the plague just to defeat the mage
Casting a blizzard, on the mere wizards unlocking a secret stage
Famous comedians would be afraid to perform on, as we swarm on
The honey lights shining, as it heats the cold heart into a warm one
Opening the soda, watching it fizz to the top of the lyrical quota
Another year another day I'm getting older, the end is getting closer
But the shades of Gray, show me the way in as well as the escape plan
As we shake hands, though my mother always told me I'd be a great man
Falling head first, in Red dirt on the Indian clay the feeling is complicated
Though I'm not as anxious, the color Green only made me feel intoxicated
With every option taken, I took the wrong road of a pagan fellowship
But the road that paved the way was nothing close to Yellow bricked
Singing the Blues, with a Black male that couldn't bribe me for my ID
In living color, my imagination painted images, that became lively exciting
As I fade slow, with my brave soul and my face low to the surface
The velvet maroon drapes fall lower, as its cased closed and curtains
I'm almost certain colors is what makes my world a great thing to see
As the humid color of teal, is as real as a human; which I am proud to be
Splashes of Orange lashing out at me, with a sharp taste it left
Because the Purple grapes made the taste less depressed
My colors blend
And set another trend
Clinching the best shades
Although some of them just fade
We make the best of the time we see bright
But the only color we can't see, may be white
On to the Gold, oh the gold is so soft and mellow
It only reminds me of a darker but sharper yellow
False with fellows, Magenta flowers lost their petals
Which made the color Lavender, look all but special
Though it makes the poetry stand only to keep me
From looking at White, and allowing to see it so cleanly
A genius of the Brown sands, as we found lands
And Silver mad the sound stand, as a profound man
With a nice Maroon, had one chance to feel the crown
Aqua Blue I got from you, only made my feelings drown
It all seems silly now, because I think Gray misses me
But I didnt regret that she left me, until the day she kissed me
