:vanja: I hate you right now for putting New England in the same sentence as Cincy and Tennessee. You must have been smoking something.

And Johnny Jolly wasn't that critical to their D. He was good though.

No Welker for half the year, no defense, a declining Brady, a declining O-Line. .

they aren't a first tier team anymore man. . they had their run. Team of the decade for sure. . . but their best days are behind them.

They could win 11 games and still take the division. . . but the big dogs aren't seeing New England in the playoffs and saying "oh shit" anymore.

Last I heard on Welker was he would be back within the first week or two not miss half the season. They're defense should be better than last season. Brady isn't declining, wtf? The O-line is, I'll give you that. I'd still put them first tier, but more towards the bottom.

I agree alot of teams don't fear them like they used to, but that'll just work in the favor of the Pats being underestimated.

Playoffs easy this year, and from then on kind of depends on the matchups. Last year against B-more was U G L Y... I think I could hear my future first born child crying at the end of that game.

Re: I can't wait anymore, NFL 2010-11 thread

Brady wasn't Brady last season. His numbers are inflated to shit by them running up the score against Tenn. He's really not even an elite QB anymore.

Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Rodgers Brady. He's still great, but he's no longer Tom Brady.

Dynastic teams don't get raped in the asshole hole at home in the playoffs. The old Tom Brady doesn't make mistakes that give the game away in the 2nd half 4 times. The old Tom Brady with 2 of the best WR's in the league puts up ridiculous numbers. It's ova. . . and it's really over this year when Moss leaves.

The defense didn't really get better. Remember those fucked up 5 LB formations they had to run last year so that they could make it look like they could stop the run? Expect more of the same. They are saying that 7 positions on defense don't have starters. That's not because of the influx of talent, it's because there vets are now as bad as the rookies coming in.

I refuse to believe it lol. He was coming back from some intense knee surgery last year so I'm not too surprised. He's still a top 5 QB. That's not elite? With Moss going you best believe they're on some do or die mentality. Only way it could go south is if they end up clearly not in the playoff race and Moss just quits. With the type of player and teammate he's become in the NE system though, I don't see that happening.

Yea, Run D is a problem though, for sure.

OH yeah they'll def. be in the playoff race. I said they were a 2nd tier team not like a 3rd tier. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the division. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if they finished in 3rd either.

They'll be hanging around in weeks 16 and 17, and probably be a Wild Card team. . . but I don't think they'll get much farther than that.

Alright, yea and Pass D too. lol. better pass D then Run D atleast. We had rookie, or really young guys at CB and S last year I think.

Bax - I guess I can live with that. Miami is always the question mark, and with Brandon Marshall going there it definitely got more interesting. We'll see what happens.
