I've only recently had this problem.
When I go into the User Control Panel (Might be called something different... It has "Forum, Blog, New Posts, etc.") The forum doesn't register the click when I tap the " New Posts" button. Instead, it takes me to the forum search page.
Using Android Chrome (Droid MAXX)
3g data
Does anyone else have this problem? Ways to fix it?
Edit- just looked, its called the VBulletin Menu.

I've been trying to recreate this issue but I can not seem to experience the problem you are having. To be honest, I never use the mobile view... I also go to full site, works better in my opinion.
