You should use soundclick, or get someone good with sites to build your shit
the hat is just a tid bit too loud, wasn't feeling the chops on the hook
I think if you switched up the drumline it would do alot to the beat
Like I personally wouldn't repeat the hat sequentially like that on this melody, perhaps a simple 3 hit step hat sequence could be enough depending how you do it.
Also, if the chopped sample was mixed down better could give it a better powerful feeling. Just needed more a lil more energy in the chords.
Like it would be a nice progression if like how you started the beat with the sample playing, then as the beat starts, the violin chords gets a lil more power into them.
