on a beach called "el tunco" i dont know if thats the real name, but that's what my brother in law called it.

oohhhh.
yeah, I'd love to go there next time.
Didn't go to any beaches to be honest.
Most of my time was spent in Santa Ana and Metapan.
We visited El Congo too...pretty small place.
There's this lady that sells chuco off the main road.
We sat outside with a coconut bowl full of chuco and pan (well I didn't have any), while getting eaten by mosquitoes.
It was awesome.
How long was your stay?
You have family there?
i was there for a week and a half. my father was killed so i went to pay my respects and to meet some of my family for the first time.
you should really visit the beaches next time you go, they are gorgeous. the waves are terribly strong though, so if you're not into swimming/surfing it might not be your thing. lmao@not having pan.

this was the pueblo where my family lives.
front of the little third world house where my abuelita and cousins live
i went to visit my grandfather(whom i met for the first time there) he lives in teluca
these are his chickens and ducks and stuff

oh. I'm sorry to hear that.
My next question was asking if you were Salvadorian, I mean obviously if you have family there you'd have at least some in you. I was there for about 2 1/2 weeks. I wanted to visit the beaches, but my cousins trooper broke down lol. You're right, it's not a very safe place and he didn't want us going further away without proper transportation. We normally were back home before the sun went down. Across from where my cousin lived, there was this lady that made dulce de leche and all kinds of other dulces. I was at her house pretty often. lol. My reason for going was a bit similar to yours, I actually went searching for my father. Anyway, I don't mean to ramble on.
silliness. rambling is the language of awesome. did you end up finding your dad?

lmao. YES. i dont think ive ever been fed so much in my life. god, i miss the food though. i remember going to a little carne asada place and they were like "Do you want some watermelon juice?"(in spanish of course) and i was like "no thank you, i dont like sweet things"(thinking that it would be like watermelon flavored juice drink) and they told me to try it so i accepted it because i didnt want to be rude. two minutes later this lady bring out a freaking watermelon, cuts it open, and starts squeezing juice out of the motherfucker. I was like GAWDDAMN THATS AWESOME. best carne asada in my life, and only three dollars. so much winnnn.

LOL.
Yeah, their food is pretty damn cheap.
How did she give you the juice?
The first time I bought some, she pulls out a lil ziplock bag, pours the horchata in there and hands me a straw.
I thought that was pretty cool...lol.
It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo humid too.
We went to this fiesta during the end of july "fiestas julias" they call it.
I bought some churros, when I was done I asked my cousin where the trash can was. He pointed to the ground . I couldn't do it. I walked around the whole night with the bag in my hand...lol. THERE WAS NOT ONE TRASH CAN!!!!
Damn we some Ms13 motherfuckers...
My family is from Santa Ana, San Miguel and really home home---La Union.
I've only been once when I was 8 and I remember my father would just go to the local stores and just open a tab so I could get snacks. It was something about the soda in bags that was really nice. I miss the charamuscas too
